Mahjong & Mingle: A Social Series

Whether you’ve been playing for years or are totally new to the tiles, Mahjong & Mingle is your invitation to gather, learn, and play in a relaxed, social setting. Hosted twice a month by Gatherings, this series is all about making Mahjong approachable and fun for everyone. Come solo or with a friend—there will be games for all levels, helpful guidance for beginners, and plenty of laughter along the way.

Have a set? Bring it! If not, we’ll have a few available for group play.

Backgammon & Banter: A Social Series

Join us for Backgammon & Banter, a twice-monthly gathering designed to make the classic game of backgammon more inclusive, accessible, and fun for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned player or just learning the ropes. At Gatherings, we believe in the power of play to bring people together. This event is about more than just rolling the dice—it’s a chance to connect, laugh, and enjoy a bit of friendly competition in a welcoming space. All experience levels are warmly invited. We’ll have friendly matches, tips for beginners, and plenty of good conversation.
